Nordik Data Centers and GenerIA Annouce Strategic Partnership for totally secured infrastructure with integrated AI services

    January 9, 2025
To offer organizations around the world a truly sovereign, truly secure and truly green alternative to the technology giants. This is the aim of the strategic partnership announced today by Nordik Data Centers and GenerIA at CES in Las Vegas.
A majority of public and private entities are rightly concerned about the lack of control over their data when using international infrastructure and AI providers. Wholly or partly American, these majors are subject to jurisdictions that do not allow them to guarantee absolute confidentiality of their customers' data. The media are full of anecdotes showing that a lot of this data is used to train new AI models, with the risk that a cleverly designed query will bring it out on demand.
By offering an alternative based on contractual commitments to absolute security and confidentiality, Nordik Data Centers and GenerIA address this problem once and for all. What's more, the combined ecological virtues of Nordik Data Centers' hardware installations (100% renewable energy, CO2 air conditioning, heat reuse, etc.) and GenerIA's AIs (structural frugality, auditable carbon neutrality) guarantee the lowest environmental impact in the world. Last, but certainly not least, by combining the respective performances of their solutions, Nordik Data Centers and GenerIA offer the market integrated services that are state-of-the-art from end to end.
The global IAaaS landscape just changed for good. To find out more, access the official Press Release.

A GenerIA Worldwide Innovation: AIs with Real Time CO2 Dashboards

    October 2, 2024
GenerIA was born to create carbon-neutral AIs. This deep-rooted motivation guides every stage of our developments, from algorithm design to client customization, training planification and the use of green energy resources. As the demand for high-performance AI solutions continues to grow, we are making the choice to also innovate for the Planet. In this perspective, GenerIA today announces that its bespoke AIs now integrate real-time dashboards of CO2 emissions. A world first!
    Frugality and eco-transparency
Why such dashboards? To enable our customers to monitor and fine-tune their carbon neutrality roadmap, and thus fully and easily achieve their Environmental responsibility objectives (the "E" in ESG). Choosing GenerIA is getting a head start. GenerIA AIs offer a level of functional and energy performance unrivalled on the market. Their structural frugality guarantees significantly reduced water and energy consumption from day one. This frugality then mechanically translates into significantly reduced greenhouse gas emissions. In this respect, every result produced by every interaction with a GenerIA AI includes energy consumption and CO2 emissions metrics. Our dashboards are designed to analyze these figures as a whole.
    Bespoke AIs, bespoke analyses...
GenerIA dashboards offer several view angles on these emissions. In addition to global and historicized statistics, they provide aggregations by department (finance, marketing, R&D...), by user, by time series, by site and by API (a GenerIA AI typically includes several components: Generative AI, voice recognition, vector search...). Available in cumulative, average and proportional form, these statistics and the corresponding graphs can be adapted in a few clicks directly from the dashboard interface. So everyone has the tools they need to identify trends precisely, and correct them if necessary.
To paraphrase Lord Kelvin, the physicist, If it cannot be measured then it cannot be improved. At a time when ecological challenges are becoming ever more pressing, we hope that our approach sets an example and that the AI ecosystem quickly follows the path GenerIA is charting today.
